Bohemian Nursery Love
This STUNNING bohemian nursery was designed by AMA Interiors designer Lindsey Beck.
When Lindsey designed this nursery, she was already pregnant but didn't know the baby's gender yet. She had a super strong feeling the baby was a girl, and she was right!!! Her motherly intuition obviously inspired this beautiful and feminine nursery design.
AMA Interiors, the Dallas based design firm where Lindsey works, designs model homes for several builders across Texas. The firm also works with individuals on their personal homes. This particular home is in Frisco, Texas in the Grove neighborhood. It was built by Drees Homes.
Lindsey's Bohemian Color Scheme
Traditionally, hand-woven and dyed fabrics serve as the backdrop for bohemian color schemes. Lindsey accomplished this look by choosing a moody color palette of deep greens and pinks. She completed the color scheme with the fantastic gold lamp which adds the metallic element so often found in bohemian design.
Bohemian Style Textiles
Rather than relying on a wall tapestry or macrame plant hanger, Lindsey chose to add texture with blankets from Anthropologie. She layered blankets on a ladder and added an additional blanket on the crib rail.
Boho nod to plants
Typically, plants bring a fresh, earthy feel to boho styled spaces. Lindsey nods to this aspect of bohemian decorating with the the gorgeous floral wall art above the crib and the floral patterned crib sheets.
Lindsey’s Daughter’s Nursery
For her own sweet little one, Lindsey designed an AMAZING gender neutral nursery! This nursery is contemporary with a bit of boho influence as well.
Lindsey chose a large-scale print rug, and small geometric print pillow and blanket. She anchored the crib underneath plant artwork along a dark green accent wall.
Similar to hanging plants often found in boho nurseries, Lindsey added three hanging plants in the corner of the room. However, she opted to plant them in sleek contemporary containers
The two-toned crib ties in the natural wood rocking chair where I’m sure she and her beloved daughter will spend many special moments.
It was a privilege to feature these beautiful baby nurseries! I want to thank Lindsey, AMA Interiors, and Drees Homes and wish them all the best!
